IMHO
Once again the festive spirit
has us full of joy and cheer,
but the bearded Mr Gamble
doesn't get a lot on here.

No more farting, spitting, swearing,
Lord Donald has decreed,
what is there left for Wullie
should he feel the :censored: need?

Biggles flew out overhead
to cover him in "muck"
but forgot that "Gallus Gamble"
will never give a :censored:

When Hunners saw the Mullen
his comments were sarcastic,
Wullie yelled out loud and clear
" your's is :censored: plastic!"

If expressing an opinion
think of how the man will feel,
on awakening from his slumbers,
- he's sleeping at the steel. :guitar: :guitar:

" the reel Rabbie "
No longer slummin, I’ve got a Mullen and a damn good amp as well,
they’ll be well played, if not played well, seat time alone must tell!

Weel noo Rab the rhymer
It really must be said
If a nail must be hit
To get right down to it
Then the nail has been hit on the head

If they think that I'm offended
They don't know me at all
If by saying I'm short
Is their only retort
I'm not offended at all

So let them have their fun ma boy
It matters not a jot
I'll just lie here in this darkened room
Blinded by tears and snot

Mon the Mullenses

Och, I know your not offended,
by cruel or rude remarks
but your feelings are in tatters,
with talk of wood and sparks.

I was thinking of your welfare,
and your mood it must be sullen
when others "slag" your pride and joy,
and want to burn your Mullen!

With no one in your corner,
you'll reply with all your might,
it's a consolation to you,
plastic smells and burns like SHITE! :guitar: :guitar:

So lie there in your dark room
amongst your tears and snot
till a spotlight shines upon you,
cause you've got what they have not. :guitar: :guitar:

" The reel Rabbie "
P.S.
Yer never sullen wae a Mullen.   :guitar: :guitar:

Where's the "applause" button?

Our brethren from north of the border
Are renowned for their humour, 'tis true.
They may eschew strict law and order,
But they're gentlemen, through and through.

So raise your tankards, you men of the south,
Toast them, whate'er's in your glasses,
.......

Dammit, can't think of anything that rhymes with "glasses".

Oh well - Merry Christmas guys!

Never call them lassies

Unfortunately I have been in the HDU unit at RAH in Paisley for the last week with Pneumonia and Flu. They won't even let me have my steel in so I can practice but if I get out in time before Gartcosh, I'll still give my tune a try!
Hope you are all keeping well and staying clear of the lurgy .

Regards

Good Lord Davie  I'm sorry to hear that.
I've had that feckin flu and it wiped me out for 4 weeks, can't even remember the festive season :(
But pneumonia's a whole different kettle of sh$t.
Fingers crossed that you'll make it.
Get well soon.
