Think I'll need to charge up more than just the L-Frets, drove down to a place 15 miles south of Stranruar on Sunday to look at a motorhome which we ended up buying, 400 miles round trip, absolutely knackered the past few days.

Friend of mine has asked me to put some steel down on his bands new album, so been busy with that, don't know how much he'll use, but it's been fun so far.

Anyway better get practising for next week, don't want the down and outs showing me up

Well the cars packed up and I was just getting changed when I noticed my left knee which has been nigly the past week has come up into big red hot swelling.

I had this on my right knee last year and turned out to be pretty serious, just avoided going on an intravenous antibiotic drip.

So I'm off to casualty before it gets out of hand, dang, was looking forward to tonight

Have a great time tonight guys and maybe see you next month, last year it was 3 months before I could play PS again.

Now sitting in casualty waiting to get seen, looks like a long wait

Good grief Jif! Very sorry to hear that. I was wondering when you didn't show. I hope everything gets sorted quickly for you. That's got to be seriously frustrating with that Legendary guitar sitting there!

It was another good night in Gartcosh. Everyone was on fine form. Dougie even brought his pedal steel to add to his usual selection.

Indeed another good little night Danny, the tester of the bouncing harmonies went well it will be interesting to do it round the room next month!

For those not there .. one steel playing 'strictly' the melody and the other playing the harmonies and fills, an interesting slant ; no pun intended!
