I'd like to reiterate Tony's comments. It was my first ever sojourn to a Steel Guitar Festival and I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. As a very new player, I received lots of good advice and encouragement from the more seasoned players. Roll on next year. I'll try to learn a few more tunes!
Regards to all attendees,
Keith Glendinning.

PS - we've managed to identify most of the "left luggage" but does anyone want to claim a card of batteries? Let me know if they're yours and (politely) what to do with them. :D
AND - if anyone has photos of the weekend that they're willing to share for posterity, please email them to me - PM if you don't already have the email address.

Well said Tony, it was a really lovely weekend spent in warm and empathetic company. Great music, great guitar playing and great weight gain (we did stuff ourselves  )

Thanks to all who came - it was a real pleasure to see the old faces and welcome the new ones. Also thanks to Tony, Ann and Dave our resident anchors in the village who sorted out local matters. Thanks also to the Buck Inn and its new owners Tony and Vicki who hosted us.

Dates for your diaries: North of England Steel Guitar Festival 2015 - Saturday and Sunday, 8 & 9 August 2015

Finally, hope you all got home without too much weather or traffic - we has a clear run to South Wales although it was choc-a-block for lengthy sections in the opposite direction.

Hope to see you all at Thornton Watlass next August, or maybe Long Ashton, Bristol in May or even Chanos Curson, France in September 2015
