Have a great weekend all.
I wish I could come but I couldn't get my shift at work changed.

Hi Will, did try you with a PM but just in case you miss it, I have backing for Look At Us in Eb.
Hope it's not too late, will mail if still needed.

Slim, thanks for the offer. Can you e-mail it to me please? My e-mail is wscowell at aol dot com. I won't be able to attend the SESGF after all, our little dog was rushed to hospital Wednesday night and is still recovering from some fairly radical surgery. Di and I were both affected enough that we didn't feel we could go away with that hanging over us. The dog will be in intensive care until Sunday, they say.
I'll be sorry to miss the steel thing but there's always next year.

Great weekend! A couple of new faces to compensate for some of the usual suspects missing due to circumstances beyond their control. Overall a wide variety of Country, Hawaiian & a touch of Bluegrass.
You need to be there next year...
(Maybe we should move away from the Bank holiday Weekend? The traffic was horrendous Friday night & Saturday morning.)
Downside for me is that when I got home I found that I had left my black Targus haversack complete with Lenovo Laptop, Roland UA25EX & Panasonic video camera behind
. Hopefully someone has it in safe keeping. If anyone could PM me with Digbyś mobile number I´d be most grateful.

Got back from South Wales yesterday after a great weekend at Long Ashton. Thanks to all who attended, players, supporters and helpers.
The standards of playing continue to improve year by year, which is the main purpose of the festival.
See you all again in Long Ashton next year. I'll confirm dates later. After the massive traffic jams experienced this year we may want to consider moving forward by a week to a non bank holiday weekend.
Don't forget that the North of England Steel Guitar Festival is set for the 9 & 10 August. The new NESGF website will be up and running by next week.
