Just arrived home from Ireland, Big thanks to all the organising committee, and all the other players, and the people who come back year after year to support the festival. Will have to try and advertise this a lot more on this side of the pond because the Scottish contingent has become rather deleted over the last few years. I had a friend with me this year, he told me he has been to Nashville 4 times and he's never had a weekend like it. THANK YOU IRELAND. DONNY

Hey Donny, glad you got home safe and sound, was great to meet you, me and breda [the woman i met in the lift yesterday, ha ha] really enjoyed your set, characters like you are much needed, as you know, we only arrived on sunday, but we really enjoyed the day, and the wine, and the music at the jam last night was awesome, thanks in no small part to dave hartley and john stannard and the other guys in the band,

Fantastic weekend. I love it more each year. It is like a Dallas PSG show. As long as I keep getting invited, I will be there. Dont change anything, The JAM in the bar was EXCELLENT. What a brilliant sound and the volume I love playing at too and all through a stack of MARTIN AUDIO speakers, thats EXACTLY how I like it..!. I think Brendan whould have a line array in there if he could fit it in...Roger and Russ Hicks had a ball on that Sunday evening too. I heard they couldn't find their room that night.. Ha Ha.. I think I am 'Guinnessed' up enough until next year.

Paul, the band REALLY done their homework on the songs. I really appreciated it. You were all just fantastic, as always.

Mike Wrixton and I attended the 2011 ISG last weekend and all I can say is WOW what an ACE venue, line up, crowd, food, drink ect, ect, 10 out of 10 TED! some of the playing was mind blowing! It was also good to meet up with old friends and to make new friends.
