Aye an enjoyable night and lots of ideas to steal as usual. How about a ‘share a lick’ spot sometime? Everyone has something so offer and a wee demonstration with a bit of time to get it before moving on to the next persons lick might work. Would love to know what all that 'under the table' stuff that bob does is all about....... with moves like that he would do well on Strictly....
Cheers

That would certainly be a good use of time Calum, getting back to a one to one tuition spot would be also be good for us learners.

I particularly like Bobs double knee lever move, maybe you could explain that move Bob.

Geoff, I believe the 'double knee' move is what Bob calls 'The Heimlich Manoeuvre' Easy to pull off if you can do the Charleston!
GFI Ultra keyless S10 4+5 Emmon's setup + Sigler, Li'l Izzy, Hilton volume pedal, Roland Cube 80gx, Joyo American Sound Pre-amp, Behringer VD400 Delay Pedal, Peterson Strobo Plus HD and a brace of bars, Ben's, Ezzee-Slide, Pearse, BJS, SIT nickel strings.

Not wishing to spoil a conversation but can I add my congratulations to the real star of the Gartcosh CD " the bus pass kid " Danny, this is a very professional bit of recording work and the end results are a credit to him despite his frequently mentioned " misspent youth ". :o
As he stated on Tuesday no expense was incurred, but the helium balloon used for the voiceover effect was worth every penny
The other one I must mention is the star of the small screen, who took me back to the time before TV was invented with the true sounds of lap steel and dobro, as wat was on old 78's my grandad had!
Brethren of the bar " dawn souwf " don't know what they are missing but no doubt will eventually get to hear the results of months of work on Danny's behalf and I'm sure we all thank him for his efforts. :guitar: :guitar: ( but no money will change hands in the process  )
last night was very enjoyable and a new member was made welcome by all, long may our meetings continue to prosper, as we all gain from the " Gartcosh " experience :guitar: :guitar:
Robert
No longer slummin, I’ve got a Mullen and a damn good amp as well,
they’ll be well played, if not played well, seat time alone must tell!
