Y'all get nuthin outstanding from me I come to steal steel lics from the Scots for the guys down south and there is a few hundred miles for this ol man to travel between now and the 22nd..... I may need to borrow some matchsticks to keep my eyes open ....

1!st......No Joking...That just doesnt happen at the SSGW
2nd....Even if you know the tune..you say you dont..then high praise is awarded when you nail it
3rd...Donny and Willie will shoot arrows at you
4th ..... I will shoot arrows at you
5th...anything could happen, so keep your wits about you
6th....You will be well received and looked after with the usual Scottish hospitality
7th,,,You must enjoy yourself..no excuses..lol

Looking forward to meeting you Davie will bring my autograph book ( Have heard you play ) Donny, don't want to impose on you, would love to stay a night but if it is any trouble I have a big old van and can catch some ZZZZ's in there.......
I am committed to looking after Eithne since she has lost her mobility and to leave her for two days is a lot but, the reinforcements i have called in assure me that all is well and i can go so, Whoop-De-Doo see you soon

It was a pleasure to meet and hear John Davis tonight at the SSGW in Gartcosh. John belted out some great tunes and enjoyed some of our unique banter to boot. Video camera. Was rolling and I'm sure we will get something on here soon. Well played to the rest of the Brethren of the Bar too. Great fun.
