Shame you weren't playing Danny especially after your blast on 'I'll fly Away' last month! I was impressed with that! (sorry I left that paperwork tonight I'll be sure to put it in the case next meeting.) Don't be too amazed at the different approaches it is generally because we are winging it! There were some nice touches all round, DJ fair got it together once he had yanked up his dangler! and well done Brandon (in at the deep end) also JC for his efforts on the Mullen(never easy on OP's guitars) Willie gave us a few of his classic yodels but was certainly more subdued this evening (goodness he must be getting old!) Mr Withers as ever right in there, (get the tempo up said he!) Robert was on the notes it was just a shame his sound was not doing him justice on that Rickenbacker. and of course Mr Holland.. I do enjoy catching his use of the 'C' pedal!........ Just sorry I had to depart prematurely, couldn't get my baby sitter this evening! ..........Though the night was lower in number it was not in content .....IMHO of course!

Yes, Bob, JC gave me them and I'll bring them along next meet. I was browned off that my enforced month off kept me from working on the tunes, but I was able to mangle a couple of tunes I'd been working on for last month and my remaining brain cells managed to get some of the notes in the right order ;)
Oh, and the tunes for next month are She Thinks I Still Care and You Win Again, quality grist for the Adam's mill, methinks. :guitar:
GFI Ultra keyless S10 4+5 Emmon's setup + Sigler, Li'l Izzy, Hilton volume pedal, Roland Cube 80gx, Joyo American Sound Pre-amp, Behringer VD400 Delay Pedal, Peterson Strobo Plus HD and a brace of bars, Ben's, Ezzee-Slide, Pearse, BJS, SIT nickel strings.

Bob thanks for the comments a night of right notes in the wrong place with a crap sound, pity you missed the culture after you left us.
Danny brought up the tone of the evening and was accused of playing "Jazz" :guitar: afterwards Dave Holland gave us a nice rendition of "Dark Island" despite Donny adding seagull impressions and "our Willie" playing with the foghorn on a Calmac ferry!
Looking forward to next month's April shower, meanwhile I'll do a Glen Miller and try for a "good sound", it must be there somewhere!
No longer slummin, I’ve got a Mullen and a damn good amp as well,
they’ll be well played, if not played well, seat time alone must tell!

Didn't make it last night, and I'd done my homework!

Had an infected tooth pulled on Monday, following an abscess, didn't really feel up for the night. Glad you all had a good night :)

Robert your notes were in the right place all right we just couldn't hear you! Give it some welly next time!

Yes the latter part of the evening produces some gems at times, I'm not happy leaving early these days but I have no choice at the minute. hope to have something sorted for next month!

Sounds like you had an entertaining back half to the night! As for you Mr Mitchell... I need a replay of what I didn't get to hear! :guitar:

Bob, trust me , it would be well worth hearing Danny's jazzy tune, the name of which escapes me at the moment. He is getting too damned good that boy.
