Donny. Glad to hear that you're relaxing,and I hope they starlings aren't murmurising too loudly and disturbing your rest

Looking forward to seeing at your rightful place, at the head of the table
Callum. To answer your questions;
1 What happens?
Well, there isn't a strict format for the meets. Bodies start arriving about 7pm and we set up in a circle, like in Wagon Train. Normally there's a couple of tunes we have prepared and we play them in a round robin style. This month, as you may have read, we've to prepare a tune or tunes that we haven't played at the meets. Depending on numbers there can be a sort of one on one, where the experienced gurus show the greenhorns a thing or two. Sometimes there's a campfire session, where we ditch the backing tracks and have a jam. Magic
Also, if you have any problems or queries, the good gentlemen of Gartcosh will, without doubt, be able to help you out.
2 What do I need to bring?
Your instrument /instruments, your amp and a power extension's handy to have. A set of headphones with a mini jack comes in handy for the one to one's. Oh, and a 5 pound note, for the hall hire.
3 Will there be pancakes?
No, like the wee beggar, the one that doesn't have a flute or a drum, who appeared at your door, no' last night but the night before, you must bring your own pancake, if you feel the need.
Hope you can make it, the more the merrier, you'll enjoy it, I'm sure
