See you in May..

[Jim Pritchard]

Hi Digby,
Surprised that not many names from the previous meeting/s are not putting their names up........yet !!! So you can count me in .

Steel + amp + PA system + b/tracks (if required) etc. + caravan for the W/End, as per my last visit. Looking forward to a good event.

Come on guys, show your support for this once a year event.

I'll see Ron @ the BSS meeting in Feb. to sort out some of the finer (stage) details etc.

Best regards, Jim

Hi Jim
Nice to hear from you. I'm in Madras at the moment tracing a 19th Century ancestor - a gunner with the East India Company who died during the Indian Mutiny. Found the church where he was wed and now have a mild dose of Ghandi's revenge.
See you all in May.

I've just booked for me and Di. Looking forward to it. Anyone know a B&B or pub nearby that allows you to bring pets? We don't want to leave the dogs behind.

[Digby Hardy]

Hi Will
Looking forward to seeing you and Di.
Give Ron Kew a bell, he could give you a steer on what B&B's are suitable.

Digby, I still live in hope of getting something useful out of my Georgeboards 8 - string C6 lap steel. If I can get a few minutes with you some time that weekend, I'd appreciate any hints or tips....

[Digby Hardy]

Hi Will - Rod King, master of A6th will be there. Now there's a man you've got to talk with.

[Will C]

If anyone's going, and has a backing track for "Look at us" in Eb, I'd be very pleased to hear from you.

[U_twelve]

Hi Will,

E-mailed BIAB file to you. Eb, Style is _ACCNTRY.STY, Strings track erased & disabled (you don't need Steel Guitar in your backing track Melody track has a midi file on it also disabled but not erased.

You've not left yourself much time to get that one ready for the weekend

[Digby Hardy]

See you all on Saturday!! Can't wait.
