Great photos David and Henry!
Agree with David that the venue/service was not exactly wonderful. I put the barmaid's surliness  down to inner London cool, being a lad from the 'burbs, but maybe it was just surliness. She wasn't exactly rushed off her feet, either...
I understand the pub puts on gigs and comedy nights - hope they get some customers for these events. They were not exactly rushed off their feet during our 6 hours there!
Thanks David Hartley, John Davis and Donny for their kind words and support.
Next meeting 24 November, 12 noon to 6.00pm. We will be doing damage to:
Your Cheatin' Heart
Green, Green Grass of Home
Send Me the Pillow
Farewell Party

as well as 'topping up' on Cold, Cold Heart and Together Again. The repertoire grows!

Can we confirm keys for the songs (new and old) - practicing in the chosen key will def yield better results on the day. Particularly for me!

I'll be circulating basic chord structures for Yr Cheatin Heart and Green Green Grass of Home in the next day or so, and Shaun will do for the other 2 songs.
Cheating Heart is in C
Green Green Grass of Home in G

Hi Guys,

I've got the chords for Farewell Part in C
and Send me the Pillow - also C - maybe we should change the keys for a Couple - Just to get out of C
How about - Your Cheating Heart in D and Send Me the Pillow in A.
I should be able to make a start on the backing tracks tomorrow Eve.
By the way - Its easy to change the key on the backing tracks before creating the MP3

All the Best
