North of England Steel Guitar Festival (SERIOUS PLEA)

This is a very serious plea. Offers of help needed! Saturday and Sunday 12 - 13 August, the Buck Inn, Thornton Watlass, North Yorks.
Keith and I are not in great shape just now and we are concerned that running the Festival may not be a very good option for either of us. Is/are there someone(s) out there who can commit to getting names on the day into a playing order and calling meal breaks etc?
The venue is booked - although I would like to hear who is coming (we will need a deadline on that in case it has to be cancelled) - and I can make out the list of attendees. It's really a matter of needing one or more people who can MC on the days.

Sorry to hear your not in very good fettle. I will be attending (if I live that long ) & I am prepared to help out if I have too. Of course it could turn out to be absolute chaos...

I would urge anyone intending to attend this festival to let us know as soon as possible please. It is a long way for me to travel to sit on my own and of course very expensive. I am willing to attend and help out with organisation on the day but we need names as soon. Perhaps Tony can stipulate a closure date on attendees.

Good luck with your festival guys. Wish I could have helped you out, but I have previously been booked on the Saturday of the festival to play at a very small festival featuring an open air country & rock & roll show locally to me in the Ed Nix and Busted band. I will contact Tony next year to book a place on the NoESGF in good time.

I hope Tony and Keith get swiftly on the road to good health.

Sadly we have reached the deadline date and still do not have enough people to run the thing properly.
