Initially confused by tuning's offset, what with chords being in different locations to the ones I've been drumming into my nut
So, I've gone back to basics and am slowly working through Mr Wright's lapsteel lessons. For the meantime I'm treating it as a separate instrument. Like an 8 string lap, but with a tooth missing and listening to Jerry Byrd and Kayton Roberts for inspiration

I put in the change I mentioned, got to tune in the pulls a bit yet but liking the changes already, already using more than I ever used the Franklin change
