When you work out what I owe you in sterling, can you post the figure on here and I will re imburse you on Tuesday night at Gartcosh.

Thanks again Geoff

Hi Willie,

I sent you a PM but here's the figure. The strings cost $72, £50 will cover it.

No problem, happy to help.

See you next week.

Guys, for some strange reason, I put it down to jet lag, I had it in my head that this meet was next week, last Tuesday in the month and all that! I guess the clue was in the given date

Was looking forward to it, oh well, see you next month, gives me time to get used to the MSA, I'm still working on the sound.

Willie, see you next month re ra strings, no rush for the cash.

FAO Jif
It was a quiet, but nonetheless enjoyable night on Tuesday. Dougie made a triumphant return and showed off his 'Frankenstien's mitt' , needless to say this combination of metalwork and scar tissue never affected his brilliant picking. :guitar:
As usual great playing and great banter. At the end of the night I asked Donny and Willie how to get an augmented chord and was immediately showered with every possible alternative.....in stereo :o It's incredible how helpful the guys are, truly inspirational.
We were all eagerly anticipating the arrival of your good self and your Legendary steel :guitar: A pleasure deferred. In fact next month may well be standing room only, what with Mr Ken Byng's impending visit. Two treats to look forward to, and a full card of 4 tunes.
See you next month.
GFI Ultra keyless S10 4+5 Emmon's setup + Sigler, Li'l Izzy, Hilton volume pedal, Roland Cube 80gx, Joyo American Sound Pre-amp, Behringer VD400 Delay Pedal, Peterson Strobo Plus HD and a brace of bars, Ben's, Ezzee-Slide, Pearse, BJS, SIT nickel strings.

Hi Danny,

Glad you all had a good night, I went to see Dougie playing at the Adam Smith Theatre in Kirkcaldy with Stella Parton. Was an enjoyable evening, Dougie did look a bit awkward though, like he was having to contort even more than usual, still sounded just as good. He had the dobro and Duo-bender with him and his Fender Pedal Steel.

I'm still getting used to the MSA but it's starting to flow a bit more naturally now, the sustain is great and the sound from the Tonealigner is very nice indeed. Looking forward to next month and letting you all have a look.

Also looking forward to hearing Ken play, I've heard him play on videos, but you can't beat the real thing :guitar:

Dallas was a blast, enjoyed the rest of the visit as well, drove down to Austin and San Antoneo, bit of a whistle stop tour but great fun. We hired the car in the picture below, it could move a bit
