Thank you to everyone for coming along, it was a blast as always and lovely to meet new attendees Greg and Dave G - great playing too guys!

Everyone rose to the challenge of playing songs they didn't know. Backing a singer/guitarist can be more tricky than playing to tracks but it's so much more fun. As before, Alex gave us some great song choices and terrific soulful renditions. Next time I hope we can have half-an-hour or so for some tuition as Dave Gallagher has volunteered to teach us a some things. This was a fantastic start to 2015.

Shaun is hoping to make the next meeting scheduled for Sunday 12th April and we wish him all the best for his op and recovery.

JD you are welcome any time, we'd love to have you down. This group is about as far from apathy as you can get, you'd love it!

Jon your the only one not pictured playing the steel. I did take some but the sun over exposed the picture from my position, ( to lazy to get up and move!!!) next time I'll borrow your camera, so we will all have one of us doing our stuff.

Great stuff! Looks as though you had a very productive meeting! There are some faces I don't know there so obviously the group goes from strength to strength! Congratulations!!

Hi Guys,

Just checking when the next meeting is, just to let you know I'm feeling much better now, having discovered on Monday the real reason I'd been feeling so ill lately, VERY high blood Sugar. I'd been trying to be more healthy and drinking lots of Fruit juices only to discover they're loaded with sugar. Never mind, lesson learned.
I WILL see y'all in April (OP permitting).
