Ha!...You're just looking for a discount Mr 'H' :D :D

The gems will be released later! I got back at midnight last night having done 560 miles since leaving am. then trawled through it all until 4.45am had a quick kip and started again! I have to do it now or it won't get done! Too much on! ;)

All you guys saying thanks to me but I really do not deserve it! You must understand that Sandra is the brains behind it all?? I don`t think I have ever had a good idea in my life But that little lady working quietly away in the kitchen is really the the one we should all be thanking, from the hiring of the hall to the making of the tea and cake she is 98.7% responsible for the whole thing…. And without Ron and Margaret’s help on the door it would not happen either,…. So there the ones that deserve your thanks……… Now , I’m going off topic >>>>>>

With your help with the raffle, we were able to send that young man in Togo to school for a year with enough left over to pay for his school uniform.
His name is Joe Alex, he is 16 years old , recently lost his mother to a nasty disease they have in Togo, this had the effect of splitting up his family so his younger sister Catherine had to move to the village (50 miles away) to be bought up by Grandparents
This left Joe and his Dad and a younger brother (who is also sick) in a one roomed shed in Lome . Previous to his mother passing away he had also lost another brother who was shot by government troops……life seems cheap in Togo

Anyway, I am immensely proud to have been able to send your money over there and achieve something (Thank you again Sandra for the idea and for coming up with most of the prizes.)
I will paste Joe’s email to me here for you all to read……. And thank your God that you don’t live in Togo!!!!
:D

Hello John ; I just back from school and i want come greet you .The things went well with the courses , if not i do my best to understand them and learn them .
You know what i thought today when we got Freeperiod at school today is if you could send me a Camera ; i think that i could send you some pictures of the city of things happen often ; What do you think about that ?
Yesterday i called my father to tell him that you send PDH people to come pay the schoolfees ; he was happier and told me to Thank you very much about anything you are doing to help the family .
He said he will be back tomorrow at home .
You know i would like very much that my mother be alive now to see all of that because i remind when i used my save to come cyber café to search ; it make her very angry and she shout at me sometimes when i went to cyber ; she thought that i was wasted my money come surf online . But im sure where she is now , she see us ( just we don't because i believe it) and will be very happier . I believe it ...

I have to go home too learn some lessons first to be back to the school the afternoon (3pm)

Talk to you soon ...

Have a nice day . Alex

Hi Alex, meeting went well, got just enough (I think) to cover your school fee`s from the raffle as I planned.
Tommorow that money will go to Antoine via western union and he will sort out the school ..... :)

Hello Everyone
Sorry am a bit late getting to this,But been a bit busy
I would also like to add thanks to those that where involved...

As David has said I met him and his mate John for the first time and sorted out my steel problems...BUT ALSO while the day went on he gave loads of advice Plus explaining what was going on...
I enjoyed very much, the first part I though was good, I think some one said the "beginners" they dident sound like beginners to me....
I was disappointed that I couldn't have stayed longer but with 4hrs traveling back,
I would liked to have heard the other guys playing, Next time I go I will arrange to stay over night so I can stay late

Yea the round trip was almost 600 miles, but I feel it was worth it ( as a real beginner I learned a lot )
I did speak to other players while I was there but dident catch their names sorry and they too offered advice (thanks )
Well that's my 2p worth so thank you again everyone and a BIG thanks to David
Regards Paul
