South African player booked for Irish Festival

Postby Ted Nesbitt » Wed Aug 08, 2012 10:13 am

South African steel player, Mr Sez Adamson, confirmed to play at the Irish Steel Guitar Festival.
Originally from County Down in Northern Ireland, Sez moved to South Africa in 1974, where he has been resident
since then. He took up pedal steel in 1975, and within 3 months, he cut his first single. The singer was an unknown
artist by the name of Ted Nesbitt. A great steel player, super guitar player, and a fine vocalist. He will be the first
artist from the Southern Hemisphere to appear at our Festival.
