South of England Steel Guitar Festival - 2017

Set for Saturday 10th June and Sunday 11th June. A number of players have committed to this year's show, and more will be added to the list when they have also committed. Maestro Basil Henriques has given an expression of interest for him and Pat to appear. There is a faint possibility of a buddy of mine from the USA attending. I will keep the latter close to my chest as the person concerned has spoken to me about having a UK holiday with his other half and I will try to talk him into combining it with an appearance at the show. I have offered to be their chauffeur while they are here. It just depends on availability - but......you never know.

Hi Ken - I need to check that it's in the pub's diary but the dates should be 12 and 13 August (second weekend).

Sir Spencer Scott will also definitely be participating.

Already there is way more interest in this year's festival than last year's. I'm looking forward to it immensely.

Hi Baz, Steel Radio are trying to get in touch with, Digby Hardy regarding his steel festival he puts on, as I think they want to get info for the radio Hawaiian festival they are broadcasting later in the year, so far no luck, wonder if you have access to Digby and let him know, regards, Slim.
