I was a bit late arriving, and missed the first part of the day (the tutorial sessions), but I enjoyed the rest of the day, it was a good meet.
I didn't know that I was going to be playing a set until I got there, so I had to wing it a bit, with help from the band and JD's backing tracks
I wanted to try my Marlen out in a live situation, but I'm glad that I took my Emmons PP , as that steel really sings
JD had a very nice, mellow tone, from his PP, and played some tasty licks
Mark's the C6 man, now C6 isn't my cup of tea, but I can't help admiring Mark's talent, and enjoyed his set
Mr Hartley, 'nuff said
An absolute monster player, he's forgotten more licks than I will ever learn
He pulls lick after lick out of the bag, perfect intonation, with excellent tone
I had a very enjoyable time
