Big thanks to Bob Adams who sorted out damaged thread on leg socket of my steel ( someone helping me set up cross threaded it), superb work by Bob,thanks again. :D

You must train your roadies better Malcolm. I don't let anyone near my steels on gigs, especially setting it up or breaking it down. :D A cross thread is a serious problem, and you are fortunate to have an excellent steel techie close to hand.

I once bought a set of stainless steel legs for my Sho~Bud from a 3rd party in the USA, and didn't realise that there was a small burr on one of the leg threads. Result - a stripped thread in an endplate before a gig. Thanks to Mssrs. Henriques and Wheelhouse, my guitar now has a helicoil which will last another 30 to 40 years.

Just a young lad who wanted to help, did not realise till end of gig when I went to strip it down and found it difficult to get out and saw what had happened, checked with Kyle, sent pic and he told me size of tap, which luckily Bob had, and bingo all sorted by Bob. :D
