Is there a way to ease the tension on my second string D sharp to D. Has it any thing to do with 9th string not changing to C sharp?
My right knee lever is very heavy whereas lowering and raising the E strings on my left knee is easy. I Had some help some time ago
finding the half stop on the second string which meant tuning the 9th string to c sharp. Would appreciate any info. Regards Derek.

Not sure to be honest Derek. I am attending the Southern Area steel festival, but my wife wouldn't mind coming up to Yorkshire for a few days so I wouldn't count it out.
Regards, Ken

Derek - you will love Gartcosh. There are some great players there, and it runs like clockwork. What I like most is the way that the guys with a lot of seat time to their credit take some of the lesser experienced players under their wings and help them with any passages that they might be struggling with.
