I read all those post,s and surprised how many said their shobud,s sounded crap, their emmon,s sounded crap, etc. But do you know, what, my ZB sounds crap! But I bet if Zebedee (Richard) played it, he would make it sing. If I borrowed your Sierra,I,d probably report back it sounded crap also. In most cases it,s not the instrument, but the player or the hands behind it ??? Didn,t Jeff Newman at his Seminars, pick on the student with the worst built guitar and he (Jeff) played it on his finale and made it sound a million dollars? Maybe I should learn to play the Triangle. But would probably still stay it sounded crap.

Nout wrong with that comb.. It's probably the beard that needs welded Roy!!!

There's something wrong if your ZB sounds bad Graham, many's and good tune on an auld fiddle as they say up here! Jimmy Pritchard and Richard are certainly testament to that!
I have a D12 arriving from Wakefield for MOT at lunch time (traffic permitting). I'll be interested to see how it looks and sounds!
Back to topic. Loads of info there Peter, good man!......... MCI for my money is the nearest thing to Emmons p/p or LeGrande for sound!
