Just picked up a Fender Fm212r for a bargain 70 quid, all in good nick, figured it would make a decent London workhorse amp, ie: probably borrowed by hooligan guitar players, knocked about in crappy venues and I won't be heartbroken the same way as if I got a fender twin stolen. Plus, it is terrifyingly loud!
Only trouble is, I'm left a bit cold by the reverb tank, it's a fairly short decay and even at full tilt it lacks the depth of reverb that I'd like. I do have a Boss Rv7 reverb pedal that is pretty decent on a some settings, but it's spring emulator ain't great, and what with all the other effects I use, it's getting crowded down there!
Has anyone had any success is swapping out reverb tanks on their amps? Is there anything you could recommend before I go trawling through the inevitable infinity of options online?
Ta!
