Help!

Fellow forumites,

I've just changed strings on my psg and my 'A' pedal is having no effect on string 10 and a slight raise of pitch on string 6???

Last time I changed strings I did so, one at a time and it all went very smoothly. This time I took all the strings off and I'm wondering if this was a mistake. I can't get in about it tonight, as it resides in the master (only) bedroom and she, who must be obeyed, has taken up occupancy.

It'll be tomorrow evening before I get to it, when I'm hoping something obvious will be apparent when I flip it over. This is a major setback for the heavy practise session I had planned in advance of our forthcoming Gartcosh bash. Any thoughts?

Hi Danny.
You're going to upturn the steel and check the rods on the A pedal.
They've probably slipped off the crank.
It should be easily visible when you look.

Danny - there will be plenty of people who can help you out on Tuesday night if you can't figure it out.

Thank you, gentlemen, for your advice. I did as you suggested, David, but couldn't find anything loose or seemingly out of place. As all the other strings were responding as normal, I took the string off and restrung. .......bingo! Normal service was resumed.
Dozy operator error, I assume.
Thanks chaps.
