Help with modification / renovation of MSA Classic XL

Hi - I play mostly lap steel but my attention has been turning to my E9 pedal steel of late.

I have a nice old MSA but the configuration of the knee levers is not standard. I would like the set up changed and can see it would be possible but I don't have the confidence / ability to do it myself.

Is there anyone in the a North of England who could help? I am willing to pay - of course.
