Technical help urgently needed!

Hi guys!

I'm just looking for some advice. I have just bought a CS (I know everyone will disapprove!! but it was the only financially feasible option!). However, there is nothing attached to one of the knee levers apparently - essentially it has been disabled. I'm wondering if there is any way of fixing this? I'm not a very "handy man" so if anybody could recommend somebody in the North of England, or if it is a relatively simple job, give me advice on how to do it myself.

It'd be greatly appreciated :-)

Furthmore, any playing tips would be great ;-) I've been playing about 6/7 months and am enjoying it very much!

Yours sincerely, Brad (the 19 year old novice!)

P.S. I am waiting for the Steel to be delivered to unfortunately I have no pictures or anything :-(

Also, I believe C-Starters cannot be modified, but surely, if it has been taken off, it can be put back on?

Brad do not panic...... all is not lost.......... You have Ronnie Bennett in the Wirrel and he can fix anything and at a very reasonable price.....01516084562 by the way Ronnie does not do mornings very well ...try at lunchtime.
The CS is a fairly simple bit of kit and it could well be obvious what has come from where when you see it :)
Check out my basic help video on you tube for E9th at JohnDavis45 it may help you.
Nice to see young people getting into steel, welcome aboard.....

Thank you for your reply John! I have in fact seen your videos on YouTube already and they helped me a lot! I'm on a Maverick at the moment (oops!!! Thin ice here, right? Haha)

Thanks for the information about Ronnie, I'll definitely be calling on him if I need to. I saw a Steel of his a few weeks ago at a gig. It was beautiful!

Hope you're well John. Thank you again!
