Pedal steel needs a service

Postby highrisejesus » Wed Aug 05, 2026 1:34 am

My williams S10 is only about 4 years old, but It could do with a few adjustments. The horizontal lever, lowers the 5th string to a flat 5th, is too high. I have a battery gaffa taped to it, to get it closer to my knee, but it's still too high. Also, way too much play on the LKL. Any tips on how to go about this. I see there is some stuff on youtube on this, but any advice most welcome.

williams are good guitars the adjustment on that up lever should be simple and obvious but even loering the back legs a bit may put it closer to reach
