Hi everyone, I've got a mid 70s Fender all pull S10 E9. Been playing it for about a year now with no problems, and everything about it is great. However, the sound of the pedals and levers hitting their stops is quite loud. It doesn't bother me when I'm playing, but since I've been bringing it to the studio it's starting to get annoying having to set up amps and mics in a way that doesn't capture the sound of the steel "clacking". I was wondering if I should add some cork or felt to the stops? Or if there was a different way to fix this issue. Any suggestions or pictures of how other steel companies dealt with this would be great. Thanks!
Relax, and do your best.
