Recently turned a 25.5" strat that wasn't being used into a kinda steel guitar.
C6 tuning makes so much sense to me, but obviously tuning super slinky strings 4,5, and 6 up a 4th from E A D is gonna go *pop*...!
I know I need thicker strings for steel, but has anyone ever figured out what kinda gauges you'd need to tune to C6 on a full scale guitar?
