Looking for help fixing Sho-bud

Help – can anybody recommend someone local to Staffordshire who knows anything about Sho-Buds and sorting out slipping nylon tuning nuts etc.

Ken, I will be going to coventry a week on Thursday for rehearsal, is that close enough?

Hi Ken - slipping nylon tuners are usually due to stripped thread and probably replacement is the only solution. But until John gets there to check, you could try a temp. fix of wrapping a little bit of paper (or a slip of tinfoil) round the rod and screwing the nylon nut back on, on top of the paper. Get the paper/foil squashed into the threads to take up any play. Might be very temporary on a frequently used pull though.
