Pedal travel stop screws.

I saw JD's remark in the For Sale column relating to someone putting threadlock on the threads of these screws. With my Sho-Bud I put small coil springs on the bolt before inserting. Found them in certain makes of cloths pegs. The wife wondered where the cloths pegs were disappearing to. :D :D I can now reach under the guitar and adjust by hand.

Also when adjusting (and I am probably teaching people to suck eggs :o :o } I adjust the thinnest string first as this has the greatest travel, and then the lower strings. Tune the G#, apply the pedal then tune to A with the pedal stop. Now tune the lower G# and tune to A at the changer. That then only leaves small adjustments at the changer.

OK - back to sleep now. 8-)

On the Carter Mick I just put a little smear of paint on the threads that does all that's needed  had to drill the last lot out and fit the next size up i am sure you can feel my pain....
