A few tips please!!!

Hello everyone!

Although I have PSG since last summer, I'm still a total beginner so I need some tips because in the future I intend to pay more attention to this instrument.
I'm talking about E9 neck on my EMCI D10 guitar and I have two problems that need to be solved.

1)
Certain strings often and always break in the same place, that is, on the changer.
Although I have a guitar since last summer from mid-fall to the last few days I did not play the guitar.
In spite of that, for a short playing time, so far I have been forced to replace two times strings (0.11,0.14 and 0.38), I do not know what could be the cause because there is no visible damage on the changer.

2)
Another problem is the C pedal, which I began to hate because it is necessary to press stronger than A and B during play, in other words, totally different feeling under the feet.
I have Emmons setup, longer and easier action, what needs to be done to release the C pedal?

I thank you in advance for your advice.

Best Regards!

Toni, a couple of things come to mind if you cannot see any defects on the changer, are you using crap strings?, I use S.I.T. signature series strings as i figure if they were good enough for Emmons then they are good enough for me. Second thing i would look at has anyone interfered with the positive travel stops on the guitar? Some guitars break 11's as newbies sometimes don't put enough windings on the peg to get the string away from the hole in the peg where there may be sharp edges.

Thank you John, I sincerely hope that poor quality will be the cause of breaking the string.
With the instrument I got two sets of spare strings (D'Addario XLS490 0.13-0.38) for E9 neck. The previous owner told me that they were not strings
which are on the instrument when I asked him about it.
Because of the short playing period I have not yet changed all strings on the instrument but I just got new S.I.T. signature series strings that I intend to put so I'll see if it will solve this problem.

Best Regards!
