There are several cases you can use, the Peli as recommended by Mat , SKB drum trap cases used by many steel players , used to be supplied with Sierra steels, Gator gun cases, Scott Dixon ( I use this one) , or if only being transported by yourself in car a padded keyboard gig bag. One thing often overlooked - if possible transport on back seat of car secured with seat belts , if in boot and sone one rearends you there is a good chance of damage to guitar, remember boots are made to be crumple zones in accidents, and can result in damage to guitar no matter what it is packed in, where as the passenger cab is a safety cage.I know of one that was damaged in a rear end shunt while packed in boot.
MSA Millennium SD1O, GK MB200,Sica 12 and Telonics 15 speakers , Joyo American Sound pre amp, Jay Ganz Straight Ahead 500w class D Amp, Hilton pedal, Peterson tuners,Digitech RP150,Scott Dixon seat/ flight case.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. I actually found Malcolm's suggestion for the back seat gig bag on a US forum so I've decided to give that a try first. Even managed to find one with wheels. In the highly unlikely event that I find myself touring about in a van, then it's time for one of the solid ones. Particularly like the one with the machine gun in it......
Cheers
