Just started with the pedal Steel (Purchased of BSS member Jason Lynch the other day and very happy with it!) after a long, long life of Dobro/Steel and guitar playing. Now, either I have an unfeasibly long right leg or my trusty Ernie Ball Volume pedal is not suited to playing with a Pedal Steel. The travel is too long on it and I get stuck quite frequently at Half volume (Which just will not do!). Do I need to raise the steel? Do I need a new pedal? Do I need a Shorter right leg?
