RKL 1 RKL2 String Pitch Settings

Postby Pollys13a » Tue Apr 14, 2026 11:12 am

I have an S-10 3 x4
Pedals A,B and C and LKLs set to Emmons. The setting for the RKLs I like Country Rock kind of sound. The RKLs, which would be best, for that kind of sound, which strings and pitch?
Cheers.

It is more about setting the levers to work better with the chords as you go up and down the neck so if you have Emmon's set up then you're going for your outside pedal you really need to raise the E ,strings with your left knee or right knee going left gimme a call if'n you want better explaination.....
The gist of it , if you change from Emmons to Day or Day to Emmons you reverse pedals 1 and 3 you then also need to reverse the knee levers that rise and lower the E's

Hi John,
The PSG have been sent to Ron, to sort out the tuning problem. I didn't want to bother you again, taking up your time. The PSG should be with Ron, this Thursday. I've been looking through my tablature I've printed out for the tunes I like and want to start playing. But can't see a common, setting sort of consensus for the RKLs. I hope you and Tammy are both well, thanks again, for your previous help, much appreciated. When the steel is properly adjusted, will also start working with your videos. On Rons S-10 3x4 there is also another lever close to the RKLs,which is not connected to make any changes, might be an idea to ask Ron to set a change on it?
Best wishes,
Peter.
