Any one Norfolk way shortened GFI legs + rods?

I've got a GFI SM10 but it's an 1 - 1.5inch too tall for me to comfortable play. Has anyone in or near Norfolk got the gear and know-how to shorten the (non-adjustable) legs, and if necessary to pedal rods? I could get just the legs delivered for $195, but I'd still have to drill the pedal bar holes into the legs, and also deal with the possibility the pedal rods might then be too long.
