Standard Height on a Justice Steel Guitar

Postby hayvis » Mon May 13, 2024 2:00 pm

Hi everyone,

I'm looking to order a Justice Pro-Lite, as I need something lighter that will travel for gigs easily. I got hold of Ron and he gave me the wait time, but have tried a couple of times to get back to him about thier standard height and I think he must have just missed my emails. I need to know whether to order an inch over or not.

I expect at some point I can get in touch with him again, but out of curiosity, I wondered whether anyone on here knew the standard height on a justice? I know several members of the forum play one. Also, is the height measured from floor to bottom of back apron?

Thanks in advance,

Jim.

What the Americans consider to be standard height is usually about an inch higher than we havie in England we are just not as tall as them so lets start with, how Tall are you?

On the other side of this you can always remove the plugs and cut an inch off....

Hi John,

Hope all is well. It's Jim. I bought a shobud superpro from you last year. It's still playing very nicely, just very heavy to take around. I has a clearance of 26 3/4 inches from the floor to the back apron. I think you described it as being slightly taller. I'm 6'2".

Very intersting to hear that thier standard is slightly higher. Would you say the shobud I have is a pretty standard American Height?

sounds like it I have bought standard legs from Gary Sill and had to take an inch off of them.

Ron did get back to me. His standard height for his guitars are 26 3/4 inches from the bottom of the end plate to the floor. This is an inch over the shobud I bought from you. For me I think it's ok though as I can play the shobud on a slightly lower seat quite comfortably.
