Thought about removing the C6th on the ZB

Postby FRANK BLOOMFIELD » Sun Jul 09, 2023 3:13 pm

I was having a thought on taking off the C6th to make my ZB an SD 11 utilizing a tuning set up with two extra
pedals making 5 pedals, giving a C6th on open strings 3 to 10 ( was'nt sure what to tune the 11th E string to ) but had second thoughts on looking at all the bloody work that it entailed so I just took off the 5 C6th pedals
and basically leaving it as a C6th sort of lap steel and that concluded my Sunday ! Here's the pedal set up and
what strings do what 8-) :) :)

Your right John, I had second thoughts about it decided just to remove the five pedals and use
the C6th as open , this will enable it to be returned to a pedaled C6th any time , one thing for sure
it ain't going from it's permanent set up in the spare bedroom. 8-) :) :)
