Legend Changer tweak

Hi
Here’s another tip for MSA legend owners should it be required. I’ve been having a bit of bother with my low E (12 string) getting temperamental and not always returning to pitch. After going through all the usual suspects I spotted that there was some sideways movement at the changer where the finger meets the spacer. Hard to measure but must have been nearly 1mm movement. Knowing that sideways is not good I decided to investigate and after slackening off the strings took the plunge and undid two bolts holding the changer side plate on. I was ready for a large ‘Zebedee’ moment as things sprung off round the room but actually it all just sits there and the plate comes off as you can see. I’m sure I’ve driven cars with smaller axles! I added another spacer at approximately the correct size, reassembled and all is well! Also i think this would be a great way of getting more access when cleaning as you get just enough sideways movement to get right inside the fingers with whatever squirty stuff you’re using.
Might help someone...
Cheers
Calum
