What do you use to lube your steel

I use singer sewing machine oil which seems to work OK but I would be interested to hear suggestions that may be a better option than this, sometimes I think it may be a little on the thick side.

Used to be big on 3 in one but have just moved to the dry Teflon spray that toolstation sell for about a fiver. This stuff is great on the boat so we’ll see how it does on the steel. Doesn’t collect debris which has got to be good!
