Should I fit legs to my lap steel?

Postby Blueguitar » Sun Oct 19, 2014 6:50 pm

Sorry for posting this here but I can't work out how to change the topic.
I've got a 1958 Gibson BR6. I play standing up and at the moment I'm using a keyboard stand but which is a bit cumbersome , so I'm considering fitting legs to it.
If it was a vintage standard guitar I'd be worried about devaluing it but I'm not sure if that would be the case fot a lap steel?
Any advice would be appreciated

Go see this my friend, then you can get someone to make one for you, saves screwing holes in the steel.
