Hoping to build a Fender Stringmaster type D8.....

Have a 'Hankering' to have a go at some Hank Williams style steel playing....(get it?? ) and thinking of making a Fender Stringmaster type D8(2 x 8 string necks)

.....Well a chap can have a hobby...can't he....

Anyone have experience of this kind of build?
Looking for drawings, dimensions....even plans!!

Any thoughts??
