Recovered peavey Nashville 400 cab

Sat Sep 03, 2016 2:47 pm

Just recovered an old Nashville 400 cab with Fender style tweed Tolex and tweed grill cloth, added a lightweight 15inch neo bass speaker so it can be used with my Quilter Steelaire amp head for steel or with my GK MB200 for bass guitar. Can't get them to load on here as usual, so you can see them on my Facebook page.

Uncle Roy, your middle name must be Pinocchio, I have a snowballs chance in hell of you forking out for a donut. :o
Derek, thinking of doing my MB200 cab in tweed, will see how much I have left over from the 400 cab.

Derek, what adhesive did you use?, I used a spray one using a spreader after applying, but had lots of problems with air bubbles, which seemed to occur after a while.

Hi Malc. Used various contact adhesives to see what was best. Evo with can in hot water so it was runny and spray contact from screwfix. Didn't have any issues with bubbles though. :guitar:
