Hi players
For pedal steel players who need to refurbish or repair their guitar:

Useful to know, I'm sure, Mat. But I noticed something strange on your website: you have described the Jimmy Day setup as "C/A/B". This simply isn't correct. Both the Day and the Emmons setup have the B pedal next to the C pedal. The correct description is "C/B/A". It does worry me that even apparently knowledgeable steel players get this wrong. It's not the first time I've seen it. I can imagine this putting some people off the Day setup. I started with Emmons, but find the Day layout easier in terms of ankle movement, and more logical, so let's not "load the dice" against it.
