Help

I just got a Bennett pedal steel guitar yesterday , I changed the strings now the B lever does nt bend the G# on the 6th string properly , the 3rd string bends ok . The 6th bends a little and I cant see any movement on the bridge , any help gratefully received as Im completely clueless on all things PSG .

You have probably put a wound string on the 6th, instead of a plain. Try a .022 plain string

I agree. Stick a plain .022 on and tweek the nylon tuner if necessary to achieve the raise. Check for anything loose on that rod underneath too if it still fails.

I could nt get a plain 022 but a plain 020 is doing the trick , so I have nt broken it after all , phew .cheers
