Hi Guys , I will soon be getting my new Sheffield sd10 and i have looked at various makes of amps
too too many now i don"t know what way to go so i am looking for some suggestions .Thanks .

I would go for a 70`s Fender twin (not a repro one) no printed circuit boards hot wired..... and if you want it light put some neo speakers in it..... about 500 quid should take care of it.......

For me the amp for steel has to have a 15" speaker. A Fender Twin for steel is just too trebly for my taste (unless you put a 15" speaker in it of course). People say the Peavey 112 is great. I can't comment as I haven't tried one yet but I hae me doots!
