Nut to connect Sho-Bud LDG pedal

Hello all.
the nut connecting the ball-end rod connector to pedal A of my Sho-Bud LDG (the little one that's set into the pedal itself when attached) decided it had had enough of the touring life and went for a walk at my last gig. Do you have any idea what size it should be?
I have two similar ones obviously right next to it, but I'm assuming it's imperial as it's a USA 1981 model and they wouldn't have dreamt of using metric, and I'm not confident in matters of the empire.
Thanks for any information you can supply.
It's not the first time I've lost my nut at a gig.

Yes that's the bit - but I literally only need the nut on the ball connector - or to know the correct size to order. I'll take whatever you've got tho!
