Help with a Small Bennett Part

Fri Aug 13, 2021 4:00 pm

Hi everyone, I’m hoping someone call help me out.

I’ve recently been brave enough to start fiddling with the underside of my steel but I’ve run into a problem. I’ve managed to buckle a couple of locking barrels that attach the pull rods to the bell crank finger (see picture). It seems that if I don’t tighten them enough the rods will just spin when I try to tune them, but if I tighten them too much they break!

I was told Ronnie Bennett installed the mechanics - I’ve been struggling to find replacement parts. My measurements with the vernier come out at about 4.7mm diameter but these are the closest things I can find:

Does anyone know where I could find the right parts or have any advice? It would be very much appreciated! Cheers all.
