All-Pull Changer workings.

It took me long enough to discover the mysterious workings of the all-pull changer. There's not a lot of "evidence" to be found by looking into that hole where all the bridge fingers live.
I was attempting to explain it to one of my sons but I "knew" there would be some good stuff about it online so I thought I would just Google it and show him what I found. Well, I found nowt (apart from a couple of drawings).
With some 'leftover' prototype bits, I mocked up a "single string pedal steel guitar" just to demonstrate the workings.

If there is still anyone here in forum-land who isn't sure about how it works, this video might make it a bit clearer.

Speaking as a fully paid up member of The Mechanical Ignorami, I can attest that your video clip finally helped me understand the ju-ju involved in pulling on a string and making the pitch lower.
