Steeler's Choice Seat Leg Cutting?

Hello all Steelies!

I purchased a sidekick pack seat from Dan at Steeler's Choice (USA).

At the time of purchase I thought I needed a tall 22.5" seat and have discovered after a few months of playing that I need a shorter seat.

I bought an adjustable piano stool to figure out what height is good for me... Now comes the task of cutting down the Steeler's Choice legs...

Does anyone in the south of the UK (I'm based in Bath) have any experience cutting down the legs on these? And would you be willing to help me cut them down?

Dan has kindly sent me a "how to" on cutting them down but I'm quite nervous as the seat was not cheap!
